We are in full swing with the redevelopment of our Prinsted Care home. We are refurbishing the whole building and building a large extension to the back, in the style of the original house. It’s a very exciting project that will provide a lot of room and enable us to deliver the highest standard of care and accommodation. The home at Prinsted will specialise in long-term nursing and dementia care. We will have 22 ensuite rooms, all spacious, light and extremely comfortable. The home will also provide two new dining rooms and two refurbished lounge and relaxation areas. The walled garden will be extensively landscaped and a veranda area created for residents and their friends and family to enjoy.

January 2012 – the latest update is that work is progressing well. The inside and outside are beginning to really take shape. The painters have started on the internal walls and all the plumping, basins, showers, toilets are well in hand. The landscaping on the outside is also coming along well and will provide a really special area for our residents. Have a look at the most recent pictures.
