October has been a very busy month for us and we have had such fun! Our Canary Team work so hard to make each day different and fun and our staff team have been supportive in encouraging residents to join in.
We have raised money and awareness for Breast Cancer Now charity by wearing pink, holding a raffle and enjoying pink cakes!
Residents made autumnal jars for our dining rooms which look amazing in the darker evenings.
We celebrated Halloween with a Halloween disco, pumpkin carving and made our own decorations.
Young John has entertained us with his informative weekly talks, including writer PG Wodehouse, 1978 and 1944.
We had new signs installed at both homes.
Our weekly Coffee Mornings continued, accompanied by ‘Daily Chat’ newspaper and quizzes.
We opened our new visiting rooms, following Government guidance.
November is looking very busy and December is already planned to bring festive fun!!
