Allow us to proudly introduce to you the newest additions to Prinsted Care Home, Lavender Lodge and Bluebell Lodge.
The idea of the Lodges was born from many conversations with families who were exploring options for loved ones, who did not require 24-hour residential care but were becoming socially isolated and needed reassurance someone was on hand, if needed. And so, Bluebell and Lavender were born!
When planning the Lodges, we wanted them to be a homely, comfortable space, that offers modern facilities to maintain independence. With a large, open planned lounge and dining area to host friends and family, kitchen area to prepare meals, large bedroom with electronic bed looking onto our beautiful gardens and spacious bathroom with shower facilities, we think we have thought of everything. Oh, and yes, there is even a dishwasher – well, who wants to be washing up these days!
The Lodges will be their home, with the comfort that individuals can choose to become as much a part of the Prinsted family as they choose. If they would like a day off from cooking, they can join our residents in our dining room. If they wish to join in with any of the activities planned every single day, they are very welcome!
Bluebell Lodge has been designed for single occupancy. Lavender Lodge is larger and can accommodate either a single person or a married couple.
Residents of Bluebell and Lavender can enjoy:

- Call bell system linked to the home
- Meals from our menu enjoyed in the main dining room
- Varied social activities programme, 7 days a week
- Daily housekeeping
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Electronic divan beds
- Daily laundry service
- Wifi
- Reassurance that as needs increase, care can be provided within the Lodge until an agreed care pathway into the home long term.
We have developed two cost bandings for the Lodges, Standard and Premium, more details are available upon request.
